In Infant Studies and Educare Lab, we conduct scientific research on infants’ and young

children’s cognitive development. Among various topics in cognitive development, we’ve been mainly interested in looking at children’s spatial cognition, block play, and relational thinking. We are also interested in the impact of educare settings on children’ss developmental outcomes. Most recently, we developed a mobile application for young children’s cognitive skills. We’re currently participating in an international collaborative research project on the relationship between parental mental health and infant development.
