Participants also have the opportunity to engage in a study tour to Japan, gaining in-depth insight into how Japanese companies and government bodies are responding to demographic shifts. In addition, a field trip program during the summer session allows students to visit domestic sites such as senior towns and day care centers, offering firsthand experience of Korea’s senior care industry in practice.
Since its launch in 2013, the program has produced over 580 alumni (as of the 13th cohort in 2025). Graduates are part of an active alumni association that organizes a wide range of activities, including general assemblies, academic seminars, golf and hiking outings, and site visits to alumni-led businesses.
