• In the Family Relations Lab, we focus on family dynamics, complexities, diversity within changing social, cultural, and economic environments. We seek to understand how and why Korean families and family relationships are unique and what contributes to this uniqueness. Our primary research interests center on emerging and young adulthood, specifically within the realms of intergenerational and intimate relationships. We are also deeply engaged in the methodology of preventive intervention programs related to parenting and couple relationships (also known as family life education).
